 Joan A. Watters is an experienced California Estate Planning lawyer who has been practicing law since 1997. Joan has extensive experience in Family Law as well, and enjoys a successful appellate record. However, it is Estate Planning that has become the primary focus of Joan’s practice. Joan has lived in California all of her life, and is engaged in the local community, raising her family with her husband Steve in Visalia. As a longtime participant in the betterment of her community, Joan currently serves as a board member for Family Services of Tulare County: a non-profit organization serving the needs of local families in crisis. Leveraging her natural talent for bringing people together, Joan heads the Special Events Committee with flair, hospitality, and tireless effort. For the past two years, she has created inspired event themes and exotic menus for FSTC's annual guest-chef fundraisers. Family Services of Tulare County is the only organization of its kind in the county, and these annual fundraisers are essential not only to raise funds, but to draw attention to FSTC's important function within the community. As a dedicated steward of families and their well-being, Joan gains great satisfaction from her personal participation in the efforts of Family Services of Tulare County.
